Amy Hockley Bio

Photography has been a hobby of mine for more than 15 years. Self teaching and continuous photography classes and seminars have taught me ongoing new techniques. At a young age I was drawn to capturing candid moments with my Dad's old camera and have never lost that feeling. I seem to always have a camera on me waiting for a beautiful sky or a look that will tell a story.

Outside of photography, my professional work experience spans more than ten years in the print/media and online retail industries. As a Senior Purchaser and a General Manager, I have negotiated large supplier contracts for a leading media company and ran the day-to-day operations of an online business. In my spare time, I put my passion for photography into practice as a small business - working out of a studio in my home or out of your home and special locations. I'm happy to be doing what I enjoy and at the same time, give people a way to remember their memories!
